Wildman manhunt adding Ontario police to the search

After searching Winnipeg, St. Clements, and now the Whiteshell, RCMP Manitoba is enlisting for more help.

Adding to the already-heavy police presence RCMP Manitoba's Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Services, Critical Incident Command, Air Services, and Major Crime Services are combing the Whiteshell after a sighting of a homicide suspect's rental vehicle.

Now, Ontario Provincial Police are joining the search for 34-year-old Eric Wildman, who authorities say is considered armed and dangerous. 

The last sighting was of Wildman's rental vehicle, a grey 2020 Chevy Equinox with plates reading KGE 368 driving eastbound on Manitoba Highway 44, east of Whitemouth. Authorities continue to have a heavy presence in the area.

They are asking anyone who may have seen Wildman or anything suspicious to call 911.
