The Bill and Helen Norrie Library is a new library the City of Winnipeg is planning to build in the River Heights area, and they want community feedback.

The Library is going to "better meet the needs of the community" the City of Winnipeg said in a release. That includes "more parking, proximity to
public transportation, tutorial and programming rooms, improved study and leisure areas, and an outdoor reading and programming area."

The new Library is seen as a priority in the "Grant Park Recreation Campus Plan" and the "Library Renovation Plan"
seeing as there is currently only one library in the River Heights area.

The city is looking to those who live in the River Heights area, to give feedback and opinions on improvements to the plan
or additions they think would be beneficial to the community.

Estimated to be around14,000 square feet,
construction of the library is planned to starting in the fall of 2019 and ending in 2020.
