Canada is celebrating it's 157 year as a country on July 1 and Winnipeggers are invited to celebrate at Princess Auto Stadium.

"We're excited to lead the charge in the province with this new Canada Day event at the stadium," Winnipeg Blue Bombers President and CEO, Wade Miller says. "Activities kick off at 12 o'clock in our tailgate area. There will be live music from local bands, variety of food trucks, Indigenous market, and a ton of inflatables for the family."

Miller says he is looking forward to having an event for the whole family. "We get to celebrate being Canadians and we live in the greatest country. It's time to get people together and celebrate. That's our focus, celebrating who we are and all of the cultures that make up Canada and what makes us so unique in this country and province."

While the event is free to attend, a ticket is required for the MainStage performances which you can get here. Donations will be accepted for Harvest Manitoba. Miller says, "The Winnipeg Football club's long-term commitment to working with Harvest Manitoba doesn't stop. We want to give everyone the ability to drop off some food and be able to help out."

"We welcome everyone from the province to come down for this family event and there will be free parking around the stadium as well," says Miller. "There will be fireworks to end the night off one of the canopies. Overall, it's going to be a great night."
