Instead of taking to the streets, fans are being welcomed onto the home turf of this year's Grey Cup champions.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will not be having a parade to celebrate their Grey Cup win, but are welcoming people to IG Field. The stadium opens at 5 p.m. Wednesday to celebrators joining the 6 p.m. festivities.

Health and safety regulations prevent us from having a parade this year, but that doesn't mean we can't still celebrate together.

The Grey Cup Championship Celebration will feature speeches from players and dignitaries, hosted by Bob Irving.
They say Grey Cup merchandise and some limited concessions will be open. Proof of vaccination is required to enter the professional sports stadium.
