The Winnipeg Police in partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police seized six vehicles, 2.46 million individual cigarettes, 457 rounds of ammunition, and approximately $120,000 in cash on Wednesday.

Six Manitobans are charged with multiple related charges, ranging from Possess prohibited weapon to Possession for the purpose of trafficking. Over two-million dollars worth of drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy, were seized in the combined efforts by the WPS and the OPP.

"The success of this investigation should be a reminder to those who wish to participate in organized crime that justice shall be served," the Winnipeg Police Service says in a press release.
