The police service is offering up some puppy love with their new calendar.
The Winnipeg Police Service says that their 2021 Canine Unit Calendar is hitting the shelves. The calendar is $15 with all of its proceeds going directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
This year, the WPS says the calendar has a special meaning.
"Patrol Sergeant Daniel St. Godard suddenly passed on August 16, 2020. Dan was a proud member of the Service and was taken away much too soon. Dan will always be remembered by many for his big smile, ample laughs and passion for everything he did and accomplished. Dan was loved and respected by the entire police family," their website says.
The funds will be used by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba for education, advocacy, and research efforts.
The calendar can be purchased online or in person.
