Craig Street Cats is one of the only locations that cares for Winnipeg's street cats, and that's astonishing because there are nearly 100,000 of them in the city, one for every 6 winnipegers.

It provides feral cat colony management, animal rescue, as well as education and training. It is home to over 200 cats currently, but that could change soon if the center cannot find the funds to make up for a summer ruined by construction in their area.

Here's executive director Lynne Scott talking about what's been going on, some very recent good news, and how you can help the efforts to save Craig Street Cats go even farther!

As she explains, you don't realize just how great the need is for services to take care of the stray cat population until you or your community is affected by the presence of feral cats. As Christians and citizens, we must pay attention to the times our cities and communities interact with God's animals - caring for strays is no only civically responsible, but respectful of God's creation and our interactions with it.

So let's help Scott take that generous offer of donor matching and make it go far!
