A church plant that got its start in the midst of pandemic lockdowns is now ready to take another step of faith.

Rose Church's co-pastors Mark and Roberta Roslund announced to the congregation on Sunday, July 9, that after three years of meeting online and in a movie theatre, they are now getting their own building.

"We are laying down roots and building a foundation that will ensure that generations to come will have the opportunity to hear the gospel and discover Jesus in our city," the church's website says about their soon-to-be new home. "We are establishing a place where miracles will happen; where lives will be forever changed by the Holy Spirit because Winnipeg belongs to Jesus."

Since launching in September of 2020, "we have seen God move beyond our wildest dreams! From over 130 people making decisions to give their lives to Jesus, to giving away tens of thousands of dollars to our outreach partners, to a hundred thousand people streaming Rose Worship music. The last three years have been nothing short of miraculous and we are so grateful to God for all that He has done!"
