In a heartfelt Facebook post, renowned Christian author, speaker, and disability advocate Joni Eareckson Tada shared the good news of her recovery after a challenging 16-day stay in the hospital due to double pneumonia. “God rescued me!” she exclaimed, echoing the sentiments of countless individuals grappling with health issues. “After 16 days in the hospital struggling with double pneumonia, I am home, happy, healing, and resting,” she wrote, adding, “The hospital provided oxygen for me, but it’s only temporary.” Her message conveys not just gratitude for her recovery but also the profound impact of her faith during these trying times. She gave special thanks to her husband, Ken, and several close friends for their unwavering support throughout her hospitalization. “They made sure I rested,” she mentioned appreciatively.
