Join Downtown Winnipeg Biz and make the downtown sparkle ahead of Earth Day.

Downtown Winnipeg Biz is inviting you to Team Up to Green Up during the 2017 Earth Day Cleanup, which takes place tomorrow, April 21.

They are challenging Winnipegers to make it cleaner than ever by signing up with a team to collect garbage for two hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Thunderbird House, or 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Millennium Library Park.

Sign up on the website and compete to win prizes like:

  • Best team name
  • Most pounds of litter collected
  • Most pounds picked per person
  • Best team outfit
  • Most members on a team

Last year's record was 3,250 pounds of litter and garbage collected. Can you join together and beat that?
