ONE SURE THING

New Horizons International Church has just purchased a new church building at 1563 Pembina Highway and Lead Pastor Justin Bradbury couldn't be more pleased.

"It means we can finish leasing and renting spaces for the various things that we do and move everything together all under one roof," Bradbury said.

He said they've been searching for a permanent location since they began in 2014. They've searched for many properties over the years.

What this will mean now is that "the ministries of the Wesleyan Church of Canada will now have a permanent home in the city of Winnipeg as this is the first Wesleyan congregation on the prairies," Bradbury said.

For his congregation locally, this means more space for what they need.

With possession date of the new building being April 1st, Bradbury is hoping to be able to have the renovations done so they can have Easter Sunday service there.

"We serve so many newcomers to Canada that this new building positions our church to be able to serve many more newcomers to Canada in the coming years. So that's a big part of why we exist in Winnipeg," he said.

Bradbury said he's very thankful for the support of the local community and if anyone's interested in helping financially with the renovation project, he would be delighted to hear from them. You can donate here.
