Another day, another threat - this time involving Great West Life.

As a precaution for their employees and the surrounding community, Great West Life has decided to close all of its offices across the city.

The Winnipeg Police Service was made aware of the threat just before midnight Tuesday.

Police attended and did a sweep of all five buildings belonging to Great West Life, but were unable to find anything.

New information was received this morning, leading to the last minute closure.

A secondary search will be conducted at some point today while employees are out of the office.

The investigation continues.
