While 2020 has been anything but normal, pro athletes are used to calling audibles and changing plans on the fly. Those that minister to them have grown used to it as well.

"It's been a whirlwind," says Lorne Korol, the chaplain of the Winnipeg Jets, Blue Bombers, and Manitoba Moose. "Sometimes when we think we've got something figured out, God kinda tells you that you don't."

In a regular year, Korol spends his time ministering to Winnipeg's pro athletes during chapels after practices, as well as ministering to the staff of the teams. It's an important mission as the schedule of sports franchises prevents many from participating in regular church life.

As a missionary with Athletes In Action, Korol is responsible for raising his own funds. His most important fundraiser of the year is the annual Pro Sports & Faith Night.

This year Korol and his team have shifted to a virtual event on Saturday, November 7. That means Mark Scheifele, Milt Stegall, and other special guests will join your family right in your own home. "People are getting the players and coaches coming right into their own living room, and have an amazing meal, and can do it on their own terms, relaxed and casual."

Ticket purchases not only get attendees into the virtual evening, but it also comes with an amazing meal delivered right to your door thanks to Earl's on Main Street in Winnipeg, or from other partners, if you live outside the City of Winnipeg.

You can buy your tickets here until November 1.

There is also an auction already underway which includes autographed Jets and Bomber gear, winter getaways, and even a special video game session with Jack Roslovic. Check out the auction here.
