Remembrance Day services will be done virtually this year in light of the pandemic. 

The Canadian Armed Forces are sharing ideas to honour fallen soldiers this year on their Facebook with a post saying, "We can remember virtually by observing a minute of silence, lighting a candle, and sharing pictures and stories of serving ancestors and veterans."

They will be live-streaming a ceremony on November 11 on their Facebook page. 

The Royal Canadian Navy will share a live-stream on Youtube with an invitation by Her Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) CHIPPAWA at 10:30 am. 

The Royal Canadian Legion - National Headquarters is reminding people to take a minute of silence at 11:00 am, wherever they might be. This year, that is most likely in people's homes to keep in accordance with social distancing.

The West Kildonan Branch is taking donations for poppy's this year, and in return, they will put a poppy up on their wall with the name of the donor or in honour of someone.
