Winnipeggers are getting another chance to meet the police patrolling their streets.

The second of an ongoing series of meet and greets takes place tomorrow.

Phil Penner, a sergeant with the community relations unit, says there's no set agenda, it's just about coming and having a conversation.

"The first one we did we had everything from, you know, people asking about what's going on in their communities, to panhandling concerns, to just simply wanting to come and chat and, you know, talk about how the city's changed over the years," says Penner.

Penner says it's a relaxed environment to come meet the officers that patrol your community. He also says officers there aren't taking formal complaints, but if it comes up they will give people the proper information on where they need to go to report things.

He says Coffee with a Cop is going to be an ongoing event, and the plan is to have one once a month at different locations in the city.

One is being held tomorrow from 10am to noon at the McDonald's at 2475 Portage Avenue.
