A non-profit arts organization in Manitoba is showcasing a wrap-up of its latest project at the Edge Gallery.

Arts AccessAbility Network Manitoba's Exposed project is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts and the Winnipeg Arts Council. The sponsor for the current show is Executive Nursing and Health Care Services.

Running until April 2nd, the exhibit features 65 pieces of art from 22 artists.

Loricia Pacholko-Matheson, executive director of AANM, says some of the works are for sale and some are not, and they range from abstract to literal to interpretations, and are done in various media.

"The theme is Exposed, so (the members) could put in work that they made in previous years, they could do something new for the event, as long as it was some interpretation of work 'exposed' meant to them," she says.

The Edge Gallery has an open mic night on Saturday, during which the Exposed exhibit will be on display.

AAMN had been in the process of getting charitable status, and Pacholko-Matheson says they will be getting that status in April. She says it will provide economic stability, as they will then be able to issue receipts for larger donations.

The show is open on Good Friday until 4pm.
