Winnipeggers no longer have to worry about moving their car overnight for snowplows.

According to the City of Winnipeg, the annual snow route parking ban has been lifted.

No snow-related parking bans are currently in effect.

The city says ice control activities, including salting and sanding, are "undertaken city-wide to improve traction on roadways as conditions warrant on bridge decks and overpasses, as well as P1, P2 and P3 streets as required."

Members of the public are reminded to continue to observe regular restrictions on parking, posted on street signs where applicable.
