The Arlington Bridge will once again be closed to traffic throughout the day, Friday.

The City of Winnipeg says that crews will be performing maintenance repairs on the bridge, Friday, December 6.

The bridge will be open for both the morning and afternoon rush hours. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.

The closure will take place between Dufferin Avenue and Logan Avenue.

The City says that pedestrian access will be maintained.

Motorists should allow for additional travel time, and use alternate routes such as the McPhillips Street Underpass or Slaw Rebchuk Bridge to reach their destinations.

The bridge had recently been closed for nearly two weeks at the end of October and beginning of November for repairs.
