No one was injured following an early morning fire in the city's West End.

The fire broke out shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Monday in an auto body shop on Erin Street near Ellice Avenue.

Heavy smoke was coming from the building when crews arrived on scene.

It took about two hours to get the fire under control.

No injuries were reported.

The structure suffered significant fire, water, and smoke damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
