Bloodvein RCMP continue to search for a suspect who discharged a firearm in the community. 

The first report of shots fired happened at around 1 a.m. Tuesday outside of a home on the Bloodvein First Nation. 

Police say a known man showed up outside of a residence, fired shots, and fled. The suspect then went to a second home, and more shots were fired.

No one was injured. 

Officers rushed to the scene and searched the community but were unable to locate the suspect. 

RCMP officers, together with the Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Services and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, continue to actively search for the suspect. 

The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Byron Duck. He is described as 5'9" tall, weighing 150 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. 

He is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant and is considered armed and dangerous. Police are encouraging people not to approach Duck and to call police if seen.

RCMP continue to ask residents to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity to the Bloodvein RCMP.
