The reigning Grey Cup champions are set to take the field for the first time since their momentous win.

Optimistically, the Canadian Football League is preparing for a 2021 season after 2020's hiatus.

“The early release of the 2021 schedule is a positive step towards our return to play plan for the 2021 season,” Winnipeg Blue Bombers President & CEO, Wade Miller says.

The Bombers will play its first pre-season game at home against their rival, the Saskatchewan Roughriders on May 28.

As defending Gret Cup champions, Winnipeg will host the Tiger-Cats on Thursday, June 10. The pair last matched up in Calgary on November 19, 2019.

“We can’t wait to get back to IG Field and properly celebrate our 2019 championship with the province.”

The Banjo Bowl is set to be held on September 11 at 3 p.m.
