The police are asking the public if anyone has information regarding this incident to contact them. The investigation is continuing by the Major Crimes Unit.

According to police, on the evening of September 28, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m., General Patrol officers from the West District and the Tactical Support Team responded to the call of a detonated device outside a building in the first one hundred block of Donald Street.

Police alleged that nobody was injured, and there was no damage to the surrounding area. Police met with an adult female who indicated there was a small explosion from a container as she was passing by.

The Bomb Unit attended and confirmed there was no further risk to public safety. A small carton containing C02 cartridges seemed to have been detonated.

According to police, investigators do not believe the incident targeted the individual who passed by.
