A field fire appears to have consumed a bridge on the 311 between the New Bothwell and Landmark turn offs.

Posts to social media Wednesday evening indicated that the black smoke from the fire west of Hwy 206 and east of Hwy 216 was seen from miles around. 

Emergency crews are on scene and Hwy 311 is closed to traffic.
