Don Leitch is stepping down as CEO of the Business Council of Manitoba after six years.

The organization speaks out on major policy issues facing the province with an eye on economic growth and community development.

Earlier in his career, Leitch was clerk of the executive council for the province and the top bureaucrat in Gary Filmon's government.

Bram Strain, a former provincial deputy minister and assistant deputy minister for Western Economic Diversification is succeeding Leitch on Monday.
