The drop in temperature is bringing good news to skating fans in Winnipeg.
Skating is open again at the Canopy Rink at Winnipeg 150 Winter Park.
The Forks Winnipeg took to social media to share the exciting news.
"Our dedicated crew has been working hard to clear the rink, lay down floods, and prepare the rink for all to enjoy." While the Canopy Rink is open, the skating trails remain closed.
A skate-changing area is available inside The Forks Market atrium, and visitors are welcome to bring their equipment or rent from Iceland Skate Rentals.
