Almost a quarter of all shoeboxes collected in Winnipeg came from CHVN listeners during our four-day Operation Christmas Child drive.

Thanks to our listeners, over 13,000 Gospel opportunities were provided by Samaritan's Purse in Costa Rica during their recent trip. Samaritan's Purse visited Costa Rica to share the gospel and deliver the gifts collected by Canadians during the Christmas season.

A total of 13,267 shoeboxes for OCC were collected in Winnipeg this year. The shoeboxes were filled with school supplies and toys. Over 10 million children received a shoebox in 2019.

Samaritan's Purse says they also gave children "a colourful storybook that shares the message of salvation" called The Greatest Gift. This book is available in over 80 languages. While ministering, Samaritan's Purse invited children to take part in an evangelism and discipleship program called the Greatest Journey. The program is to help children lead others to Christianity.
