Winnipeggers will soon be able to access more library services as the next chapters of city reopenings unfold.

On Monday, June 22, five more Winnipeg Public Library locations will be reopening. 

ened libraries, will be in operation Monday to Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Thursday: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Those wishing to check out materials are being requested to do so online through the website or app. Holds pick-up will be limited to one person per family. Those picking up are requested to bring the corresponding library card to the hold.

"Branches will be open for holds pick-up service, telephone reference service, and access to return borrowed library materials," the City says in a release.

Patrons will also be able to return borrowed materials, as the library will be quarantining returns for 72 hours.
