Two men are in custody following the death of a 50-year-old man from a remote northern community.

At 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, Cranberry Portage RCMP officers were called to a home in Cold Lake. Once arriving, they found a 50-year-old man dead inside. 

Investigating with RCMP's Major Crime Unit and The Pas Forensic Identification Services, they were able to identify two suspects. The suspects are both 22-year-old men from Pukatawagan, a remote community 210 km north of The Pas. Cold Lake is situated between Pukatawagan and Cranberry Portage.

The two men are being charged with Manslaughter and are being held in custody. They will appear in court on Wednesday in The Pas.
