The Winnipeg Police Service says a man's wife and children were in the car when they pulled him over for excessive speeding.
On Saturday morning, officers witnessed a white SUV on Pipeline Road driving 177 km/hour. The speed limit in the area is 70 km/hour.
When they pulled the driver over on Mollard Road, police say his wife and children were in the vehicle with him.
"There’s no excuse for doing 177 km/h in a 70 km/h zone," the WPS tweets.

The driver is now facing a licence review. A $1,450 ticket is issued to the man.
An earlier post from the WPS said the driver was stopped on Mollard Road. They have since corrected it to Pipeline Road.
