Elman's Food Products Ltd. has recalled their Elman's brand dressing due to allergens contained within that are not declared on its label.

The product has been recalled from Manitoba marketplaces because it may contain sesame, wheat, and gluten, undeclared on the products label.

Those allergic to sesame and/or wheat, or who have celiac disease or another gluten-related disorder should not consume the product that has been recalled, as it could result in serious or life-threatening reactions.

The product has been classified as a class 1 hazard and recalled within the province of Manitoba, and faces possible national recall as well as of May 8, 2019.

Those who have purchased the product are instructed to either throw it out or return it to its store of purchase.

Inspection activities by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) triggered the recall.

No known illnesses or reactions associated with consumption of this product have yet been reported.
