Much of the eastern half of Manitoba has again been put under an Extreme Cold Warning. Wind chills of -45 are possible this evening.

For the eastern Red River Valley towards the Ontario border, extreme wind chill values near -40 will develop this evening before improving overnight into Sunday morning as cloud cover increases across the province.

Those clouds will be bringing snow to most of the province.

Areas of southwestern Manitoba are still expected to see in the area of 10 to 15 cm.

As the snow system moves to the east, cold weather returns with the sunshine.

Highs next week or currently forecasted in the mid to high -20s.

Lows are expected to be in the mid -30 range.
