A bad crash early this morning has kept St. Mary's and Fermor closed all day. One family wanted to help out the police officers working there on this warm day.

Police have been at the intersection all morning and there is no word on when they will be leaving as they continue to investigate the morning's crash.

Cierra McNeill and her brother, Dominic, were in the area and decided to encourage the police officers who were working and show them their appreciation. So they bought some iced coffees and brought them along.

"It's a hot day, we just wanted to show the officers some appreciation for what they do," Cierra said.

The police officer they ran into was very grateful, even giving Dominic a chance to play with the siren and talk on the loudspeaker in his police car.
