A fire in a highrise was contained to just one suite on Wednesday afternoon.
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) responded to a monitored alarm in an apartment building in the 100 block of Worthington Avenue just after 4 p.m.
Firefighters found what they called "a small fire" when they arrived. The City says that crews launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 4:21 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
