Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspect in a robbery reported on Tuesday.

On November 15, 2022, at approximately 9:55 pm, RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on 1st Avenue, in Gimli.

It was reported that at approximately 9:45 pm, a male entered the store with a machete, threatened the employee and left with items. He returned to the store minutes later and demanded cash. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers made extensive patrols in the area but did not locate the suspect.

The male suspect is believed to be between 35-45 years old, had his face covered, was wearing sunglasses, a bright yellow/green hoodie with ‘zoo york’ on the front and was carrying a tan backpack.
