Jason Roy of Building 429 is celebrating his daughter advancing in this season's American Idol.

Haven Madison's first audition for American Idol at the beginning of the season had judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Ritchie on their feet as they presented the young singer with a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Madison's dad, Jason Roy, who is also the guitar player for the Christian band Building 429, was at the audition playing guitar for Madison's original song, '15.'

"I have met so many amazing friends and artists on this journey and I can't believe it's not over yet!" says Madison on her Facebook page.

At 16 years old, Madison just makes the requirement to enter the reality music show as contestants must be 15 or older.

"This girl is making me so proud guys!" says Roy on the Building 429 Facebook page. "I just had to share! Go follow her page as she makes her run on American Idol."
