Connor Hellebuyck is a finalist for the Vezina Trophy which is awarded annually to the National Hockey League’s top goaltender.

The Jets netminder recorded 31 of Winnipeg’s 37 wins which is the second-highest percentage among goaltenders on the 24 teams set to resume play.

Hellebuyck faced 37 or more shots on 13 occasions and posted a 10-1-2 record and a 2.08 goals against average in those games.

The Commerce, Michigan native led all goaltenders in shots faced (1,796), saves (1,656) and shutouts (6). He was ranked second overall in starts (56) and wins (31).

Hellebuyck, who was selected by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, in a Vezina Trophy finalist for the second time in three years.

The winners of the 2020 NHL awards will be announced during the Conference finals.

The other two finalists for the Vezina Trophy are Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins and Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
