The snow storm may be over but it still continues to wreak havoc on the city.

School buses, transit buses and traffic overall is slow going both in and around Winnipeg, which is now affecting home care service in the city.

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority says that Community Health Services, especially Home Care Services may be delayed or cancelled today due to the weather.

Those who do need urgent care will be prioritized. Those who are non-urgent, or have a family member who is, are encouraged to initiate a back up plan through family or friends.

Service delays may also result in high call volumes to the Home Care after-hours phone line.

The WRHA says they are working to ensure all urgent clients are visited and that regular service services resumes as quickly as possible.
