Another hot and humid day for southern Manitoba also means another stormy day for the southeast part of the province.

Environment Canada says wind speeds over 100 km/h are possible, along with loonie-sized hail.

The storms are expected late Monday afternoon and evening before they move east into Ontario.

The City of Winnipeg is currently forecasted for a 'moderate' threat. However, areas in the far south-east are listed as 'severe.'

Temperatures are also expected to reach the high 20s for much of southern Manitoba. Coupled with high humidity, the humidex is expected to push into the high 30s for much of the south.

Environment Canada is warning residents to be on guard for signs of heat exhaustion. Symptoms include nausea, skin rash, headaches, and rapid breathing.
