The Manitoba legislature saw hundreds of people turn out with signs and masks to peacefully rally in support of a 16-year-old girl killed by police.

Eisha Hudson died after she was fatally shot by police in April 2020.

Winnipeg police say officers responded to a liquor store at the corner of Lagimodiere Boulevard and Fermor Avenue. Suspects were reported to have stolen alcohol from the store and were escaping in a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle with the suspects then collided with other vehicles and a police officer fired their weapon.
