The family of a Manitoba man who went missing over a year and a half ago continues to ask for the public's assistance in locating him.

41-year-old Murray Courchene last spoke with his family on Dec. 15, 2022. He was reported missing on Jan. 3, 2023.

Since then, RCMP have conducted several interviews and ground searches in the Powerview/Pine Falls area with no results. RCMP say it is possible that he may be in Winnipeg.

"Murray Courchene, my son, is missed by me and many others from the community,” said his mother, Theresa Courchene. “I want to know where he is, and I want to bring him home. Someone has information that can help find him; please call the RCMP and provide them with that information."

Courchene is described as 5’10”, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans.

Anyone with new information that may help investigators locate Courchene is asked to contact the Powerview RCMP at 204-367-8728 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
