The Winnipeg Ice now take a 3-0 lead over the Medicine Hat Tigers after dominating the rink in their opponent's territory.

At last night's game at the Co-op Place in Medicine Hat, the Ice started off strong with a 3-0 lead, with goals from Zach Ostapchuk, Evan Friesen, and Matthew Savoie.

Ty Nash and Conor Geekie struck in the second period, and Connor McClennon and Easton Armstrong both scored power-play goals, making it a 7-2 win.

It was Brendan Lee and Gavin McKenna who secured two goals for the opposing team.

Daniel Hauser had a commemorable game by saving 23/25 shots on net and earned the victory over Tigers goaltender Beckett Langkow. Hauser was also named the WHL Goaltender of the month of March.

The Ice and Tigers will go head-to-head once again tonight at 8 p.m. for game 4.
