Emergency crews are on scene of a serious collision in the Interlake Friday morning.

Manitoba Infrastructure says that Highway 326 has been closed approximately 3 kilometres north of Arborg, between Rd. 131 N. and Rd. 132 N.

There is no word yet on the nature of the incident, how many people are involved, or injuries.

Motorists in the area have reported poor visibility, including whiteout conditions at times in the region.

High winds and snow, as well as rain the evening before, have also combined for treacherous conditions with some highways extremely icy in spots including parts of Highway 7 and Highway 8 north of Winnipeg.

We have reached out to RCMP for more details. More to come.
