The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are inviting fans to help open up the 2017 season at this years Bomber Fan Fest.
On Saturday, May 6 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Bombers are welcome fans to Investors Group Field to take part in activities on the field, meet some of the players and alumni, and pick up their season tickets.
Fans can get autographs from Matthias Goossen and Maurice Leggett, along with alumni Joe Poplawski and Rod Hill from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During that time, you an also get a free hotdog and drink.
If you would like to learn more about the rules and calls of the Canadian Football League, Official Al Bradbury will we offering 30-minute "Let's Talk Officiating" sessions. Sessions take place at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
You can also head down to the field to participate in different activities, football games for kids of all ages, and a bunch of inflatables. Smile for a photo and then meet Buzz and Boomer.
If you're picking up your season tickets, you can do so at the Pinnacle Club at Investors Group Field:
- Friday, May 5 @ 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 6 @ 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, May 7 @ 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Monday, May 8 or after: Pick up in the Bomber Store during regular store hours.
