A knocked down traffic signal is the cause of what could be a very slow commute for some drivers this morning.

The northbound traffic pole on Lagimodiere Blvd. at Bishop Grandin was knocked down sometime in the early morning hours.

As a result the traffic signals at the busy intersection are currently flashing. Drivers are reminded to treat it as an all-way stop, and to use caution as they proceed through the itnersection.

City crews are already hard at work and hope to have it repaired shortly.

Update: Police are on the scene as of 8:00 a.m. directing traffic. Traffic is flowing more smoothly as a result.
