There was a lot of celebrating going on at Linden Christian School today.

The Kindergarten to Grade 12 students participated in their annual Christmas Chapel this morning with guests in attendance to partake in the

lindenChristian
traditional celebration.

This event is where all the students come together and the staff lead worship with the singing of carols.

After that, there is a presentation of cheques to representatives to World Vision and Impact Ministries, a result of all the hard-working fundraising efforts that took place all year.

Robert Charach Principal and CEO of Linden Christian School said that "just over $10,000 was raised for World Vision and $4,000 was raised for Impact Ministries which were also matched by outside donors."

Middle school students reach out and give to World Vision. Each individual classroom sets goals and they find different ways either to give personally or to raise the funds while the high school students did fundraising for Impact Ministries.

Charach said the whole process aligns with their desire to encourage students to be generous and to be compassionate community members and to have a global focus of outreach.
