Over a month into the new school year, Linden Christian is enjoying a great season from all four volleyball teams.

The Linden Christian Wings have made winning a habit on the volleyball court this year and that starts with their junior varsity girls, who are undefeated in their league play, along with a second and third place finish at two tournaments. They currently rank first in the Manitoba High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) AAA rankings.

The junior varsity boys are not slouching on the court either, with a seventh, fifth and first place finish at various tournaments, while going undefeated in league play. They rank fifth in MHSAA AAA rankings.

The varsity girls are ranked second in MHSAA AAA rankings and are keeping that ranking by going undefeated in league play while finishing in first, second and third and their three tournaments.

And for the second year in a row, the varsity boys have moved up to the AAAA level. That hasn't slowed them down at all though, as they are still undefeated in league play while winning both the Calvin/Linden tournament and the John Taylor tournament. They are ranked ninth in MHSAA AAAA rankings but continued play like this could bring that up soon.

Finally, hockey has also started up for the Wings. The team lost their first game in overtime and will play on back-to-back nights starting tonight.
