The morning rush hour could be a difficult drive for some in the west end of Winnipeg.
An early morning crash at Route 90 and Saskatchewan caused a hydro pole to fall.
Southbound Route 90 at Saskatchewan is closed due to an MVC into a hydro pole at that location.

Crews are on the scene, but it's not known how long the stretch of road will remain closed.
The closure is also affecting those trying to get to the airport this morning. The Winnipeg Richardson International Airport has said that traffic is quite slow in the area. It's advised you give yourself extra time to catch your flights this morning.
Update: police have opened up the road again.
