You might like fried chicken, but probably not as much as this guy, who went viral for his Popeye's love song.

Troy Lydiate, also known as Manitoba rapper Scribe, has gone viral in Winnipeg for a video posted on Saturday. In the video, Lydiate walks into his house with a bag of Popeye's and sings an impromptu song about what he has received.

"Those that know me the most, those kind of videos are a rather common occurrence," Lydiate laughed. "I said babe, get the camera."

Typically known for rapping, Lydiate showed off some amazing pipes in the viral video. He couldn't believe how popular his video became after just a couple days.

"I was shocked," Lydiate said. "I just love to make people laugh and make people smile."

It was also great advertising for Popeye's, who just recently opened a store in Winnipeg. Lydiate joked about getting royalties for the video.

"Definitely not expecting, but I won't say no if they come."
