Manitoba woman suspected of abducting 3-year-old daughter arrested in Ontario

The search for a Manitoba woman suspected of abducting her 3-year-old daughter has come to an end.

On Tuesday, the Waterloo Regional Police Service, acting on a tip from the public, located and arrested 35-year-old Holly Malleck at a home in the City of Waterloo, Ontario.

Malleck's 3-year-old daughter was located unharmed and is now in the care of another family member.

Holly was remanded into custody and will be transported back to Winnipeg, where she will face a charge of parental abduction.
