Masks made mandatory at Red River College

Manitoba's Red River College says all students, employees and visitors will have to wear non-medical face masks on college campuses.

The rule to help prevent COVID-19 transmission goes into effect on August 31.

The college also says no more than 40 per cent of a campus population can be on campus at any one time.

Most programs will be online, though some will have blended online and on-campus learning.

The college has more than 21,000 students who take classes at campuses in Winnipeg, Interlake and Peguis - Fisher River, Portage la Prairie, Steinbach and Winkler.
